Food Friday: Dates

The yummy dates given by a special friend to my FIL. The dates were dipped in white chocolate and pistachio nuts, as you can see, cashew nuts were inserted in the middle. Truly delicious but sooooo sweet you can't eat much. Dates are fruits of the date palm, a tree native to Northern Africa and the Middle East. They can be eaten fresh, these are also dried and eaten whole as a snack or included in desserts.

Liz, before reading your post I tried figuring out what's on the pic, but didn't have a clue, dates pala lol. Wow that was some kind of presentation, they look very appetizing.
