7 Day Colon Flush

If you're looking for an effective colon cleanser to flush those harmful toxins from your body, you may want to take a look at 7 day colon flush. Colon cancer is one of the deadliest types of cancer to affect so many people globally. Let me quote this one from CBS News, "When colon cancer is caught late, it is survivable only 8 percent of the time." Regular screening tests and cleansing your colon can help prevent cancer by identifying polyps before they become cancerous. Get your 7 day colon flush now, remember, an ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure.

The Painful Hangnail

Those painful slivers of skin around your nails can cause your skin to tear if you try to pull them, so don't! To prevent hangnails, the key is to keep the area moisturized. When the cuticle is dry and brittle, these strips of skin become frayed. Smearing on a cuticle cream with hydrators like almond oil once or twice a day will remedy the problem.

If you do happen to get a hangnail, make sure you soak your hands in water before you carefully snip with sterilized nipper or nail scissors. This will soften the skin and is less likely to tear, which can cause you pain. If skin is already torn, cover it with a bandage, however small. Our hands come in constant contact with bacteria, the bandage will protect it from irritation and infection.

Heartburn Gone!

You are about to snuggle up on the couch when a painful bout of heartburn suddenly hits you. Heartburn occurs when stomach acid creep upward and this happens when the LES or lower esophagus sphincter tightens. Antacids aren't the only solution for heartburn, ginger helps muscles relax. A cup of ginger tea can keep the acid in your LES. To do: Simply combine 1 cup boiling water and 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger root. Steep for a few minutes, then savor with small sips.

Don't Crouch!

Do you squat when using public restrooms? I do that to avoid contact with toilet seats, and I'm sure many of you do it as well. I recently read that doing so can increase a woman's risk of urinary tract infection because it prevents the bladder from emptying completely. Experts suggest covering the seat with toilet paper or a seat liner. Public toilet seats are the least germy surfaces in office buildings. Telephones and elevator buttons are the most germ-ridden.

Losing Weight

I've always envied my sister who could eat anything and not gain an ounce. There was a time that she was out of job and all she did was eat and sleep, and she never packed any pounds! Without a diet pill and exercise, I would be as big as a hippo. Anything I eat turns to fat! I lost more weight more quickly with this method, and I intend to keep it that way until I reach my target.

Sunrise, a promise of a new day. I'm glad I took this shot last Tuesday, which was a good thing. I was planning to do it on Thursday morning but it was raining hard because of a new typhoon.

I'm wishing everyone a terrific weekend. Happy sky watching!

No To Juice

How do you take your medicine for allergy? Do you take it with water or juice? Experts advise to take it water because flavonoinds in the juices block the drug from entering the bloodstream. Scientists have discovered that juice from apples, oranges or grapefruit can reduce the body's absorption of fexofenadine, an anti-histamine, making it less effective. Next time you have an allergy, take your meds with water for best results.

Lose and Cleanse

Having trouble losing weight? There's a big chance your body is toxic. I've read that one of the reasons we have a hard time losing those extra pounds is because our body may be harboring anywhere from 5 to 10 pounds of toxic build-up. This drains energy and slows down metabolism. According to experts, when a body is toxic, it can't function properly so you're not just carrying those extra pounds but it stops your body's ability to lose weight.

One way of revving your metabolism and getting rid of toxins is through supplements. Find out from the best diet pill reviews and see which one will work for you best. Most of their products were created to promote prolonged weight management. Plus, you not only shed those unwanted pounds but you also get rid of those harmful toxins. Bladder Trouble

Has this ever happened to you? You cough or sneeze and a little urine leaks out? I've experienced it and it's called stress incontinence. When the tissues and structures around the bladder neck weakens, it can prevent it from holding back urine when even the slightest activity puts pressure on the abdomen. It can also happen during more energetic activities like exercise and sex.

I've read that exercises that strengthen the area can help so I've been doing pelvic tilts everyday. But I was surprised to know that wearing 1- to 2-inch heels may also help strengthen the key muscles. According to studies, the heels lead to a tilting of the pelvis that contracts those muscles. I'm not fond of wearing heels but if that would help, then maybe I should. Dietary changes are also helpful: Eat more fiber and avoid caffeine, carbonated beverages, dairy, spicy foods, and acidic fruits (like oranges and pineapple), which can irritate the bladder.

Family of Crafters

As a crafter, I love lurking on arts and crafts sites during my free time. If you have been following this blog, you know that I used to be a cross stitch nut and very much into needlepoint and embroidery. There was also a time I got so hooked with candle making and would search the internet for hours to find the cheapest materials. I had fun playing with different scents and shapes. Hubs also taught me to assemble and paint miniature models. Although I have not been doing projects for some time, I keep myself updated on the latest designs, patterns, and other crafts that interests me. I also make it a point to check out the art supplies prices, just to make sure I can still afford them, lol, in case I start sewing again.

Having both parents who love the arts, my kids are crafters too. They started out with painting by numbers, beads and origami. And now, my son is eying my Galleon scale model! Hubs is now teaching him to paint small ones. Once he's ready, I'll give him the Galleon. :)

Introducing kids to arts and crafts at a young age hones their skills. Plus, doing crafts together with your kids is so much fun!

For Fast Recovery

Do you take medication immediately at the very sign of sickness? Why don't you give dark honey a try? Some studies suggest that dark honey is way more effective at relieving symptoms (cough and cold) and can kill drug-resistant germs. Just 2 teaspoons of dark honey a day - eaten right off the spoon or mixed into hot tea - can soothe irritated throat and speed up recovery.

Dark varieties like buckwheat and wildflower, particularly the unpasteurized types can slash 3 days off the length of an illness. Honey contains pinocembrin, an antimicrobial compound that kills invaders on contact, while its natural enzymes boost output of infection-fighting antibodies.

Honey is a natural remedy, so the next time you feel a cold coming on, remember to take 2 teaspoons of the sweet liquid.

Why it's slimming?

What makes ephedrine so slimming? It helps boost your metabolism and curb your cravings for sweets and fatty foods. A lot of women opt for this because they have seen and heard a lot of success stories behind it. If you want to be one of them, click on the link for more information on how to lose more weight fast.

I was at the grocery yesterday when I spotted this booth selling potato chips. It was so tempting I had to stop and buy a bag. The white dip is made of parmesan cheese and garlic, the yellow one is honey mustard.
