Health Tip #6

You can protect kidney stones with lemon juice. According to experts, the lemon's citric acid helps dissolve calcium oxalate, a mineral that cystallizes to form stones in the urinary tract. Try to drink 12 to 14 glasses of water spiked with lemon juice if you are dealing with kidney stones.

I didn't know that either. That is an awful lot of water to drink, how quickly do you have to drink it for it to work?
2 tablespoons of lemon juice in a cup of water is also good to prevent acid reflux. It helps to warm the water first, though, and then drink it before all meals...or at least before breakfast.
