Check your posture every hour, or whenever you sit down at your desk. Slumping puts pressure on the belly, which can send stomach acid into the esophagus and cause reflux. It can also compress the intestines, slowing circulation and tightening the diaphragm, leading to constipation.

If I 'll have the chance to redo our bathroom, then it is going to look exactly how I want it. That's what I don't like when you get those ready-to-move houses, you'll have to make do with what's in there until it's time to renovate. Unless of course, you have the money to spare to have it look the way you want it.
My new bathroom will be totally different. Especially after seeing the beautiful bathroom suites while surfing the net earlier, though I am not an interior decorator, I know I can do so much more. The color of the walls, the tiles, and the kind of fixtures, will give the bathroom an aura of calm and beauty. Oh, I'd love a bathtub too where I can soak and relax after a long day. The fixtures need not be expensive, I'm sure I can find fixtures that can look elegant without spending much.
I usually spend a long time in the bathroom, especially when I want to think. It's the only place in the house where I can think, relax and be alone. My most private place! I will not mind if it's more beautiful than my bedroom, haha. How about you, do you also spend a long time in the bathroom?

It makes me happy when my kids, even in their smallest ways, try to help me with the expenses. Before school started, both of them gathered all their old books and when I asked them what they are planning to do with those books, my daughter replied, "There's a site called sell textbooks, we're going to sell our old books so you wouldn't have to spend much for Joey's new books." Isn't that sweet?
Need more energy? Eat peas and they'll keep you going all day. The little guys are packed with thiamine, riboflavin, niacin and folate, which help metabolize carbs, proteins and lipids. It's like having a built-in generator for a steady stream of energy throughout the day, experts say. Add them to salads, soups or other dishes to rev your energy.

Your nails are more than just a place to showcase your bright-red polish. Some changes on the inside of your body can be seen through your nails. Here's what you should look for:
Horizontal lines - can be a sign of severe infection, such as a bad case of flu or extreme stress or severe trauma to the body.
Red specks- may be caused by a liver infection, such as hepatitis.
Yellow nails - could result from chronic use of nail polish, but can also indicate a breathing problem such as bronchitis.
Black nails - can occur when you bang your nails against something, but may also be the result of a vitamin B12 deficiency.
Concave nails - often referred to as "spoon nails," these may be a symptom of anemia.
White spots - may be a sign of iron deficiency.
If you notice a change in your nails, ask yourself whether the change could be the result of trauma to your nail. If not, and you're not feeling well overall, it's time to see your doc.

Reaching for whole wheat-breads and pastas can provide health benefits beyond fiber. A new study reveals that the grain is high in orthophenols, potent antioxidants that are cells against cancer.
When purchasing a particular product, does the appearance, other than the price, matter to you? Oh I'm sure it does! But of course it is not the main reason why you are buying. You are choosing that product because you believe in it and the price is reasonable. The beautiful packaging is a bonus. Just like in milk formulas. There are many brands to choose from and whichever milk formula you choose for your little one depends of course on your preference, and your baby's as each formula tastes different. Some babies prefer their milk a little sweeter than standard. And more often, the containers and packaging could sway your choice, some are sold in resealable bags, some are boxed, and others are in tins with resealable lids.
There is a vast array for formula milk available and some has just gotten better. Member's Mark Infant Formula has a new and improved look! But it's still the same milk formula you and your little one loved. Member's Mark still contains the essential elements your baby needs -- fat, protein, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals. Elements believed to boost brain your child's development. And best of all.... it's half the price! Who wouldn't want a nutritionally complete milk formula at half price?

This is one of our favorite cake shops. Although it's not the name of the shop, my kids love to call it "The Yellow Cake Shop."

Don't take stress lightly. Stress triggers our body to pack on pounds and having extra belly fat puts you at increased risk for heart disease, diabetes and stroke. here. try these simple stress soothers to soothe your nerves.
1) Drink Herbal Tea - Sip a cup of tea made from the roots of Ashwagandha, an herb also known as India ginseng. According to researchers, this brew contains nutrients that offer a relaxing effect. It can be as calming as some prescription drug.
2) Breathe Fully - Close your eyes and breathe deeply, keeping your belly soft. As you slowly breathe in through your nose, say "soft." As you breathe out through your mouth, say "belly."
How it works? Experts say, when the belly is soft, the breath goes to the bottom of the lungs and you get a better oxygen exchange. Deep belly breathing also activates the vagus nerve, which counteracts the stress response, and as the belly muscle relax, so do other muscles of the body.
3) Let Yourself Cry - Crying when something makes you angry, sad or frustrated eases stress. How it works? Here's the theory of a biochemist and leading tear expert: Emotional tears have a different make up from other types, and they may be the ones that build up in the body during stress. Getting rid of them through crying makes you feel better.

My daughter went to the World Food Expo (WOFEX 2010) at the World Trade Center yesterday. She went there with her classmates and they had sample of every food they offer. There were free cooking classes and free recipes. She even went home with custom water bottles. I wanted to visit the expo too for the free cooking classes but I'm down on a flu. Wish I'd feel better tomorrow so I can make it on the last day of the expo. I like visiting expos because you learn a lot of thing and get lots of new business ideas. If I don't make it tomorrow, I'll have to wait for a year for the next food expo. :(
My son turned 14 last July 29. My sister called last week to greet him Happy Birthday and asked what he would like for a gift. He told her he wanted to have binoculars. He and his cousins are into bird watching that's probably why he asked for binoculars. My sister and I were surprised to find out there is a bird watching binoculars. Both of us thought you use one binoculars for everything but it turned out that there is a binoculars for hunting, bird watching binoculars, zoom binoculars, digital camera binoculars and many more.

My brother is still in the process of moving to their new home. I totally understand why he opted to do it on his own rather than hire a moving company, he wanted to save the moving fee so he can splurge more on furniture and accessories. He excitedly told me yesterday that he was done shopping for the bathroom accessories. Tomorrow he has an appointment with the wallpaper man and will also be looking for door chimes. He has not sent us a picture of the new home, that's why mom and I are getting more excited to see it. He promised to send photos as soon as they have settled down.
My grandfather says, nothing beats a patiently handmade, mild and aromatic tobaccos grown entirely in Honduras. He adds that baccarat cigars, are truly unique tasting cigars that is why he won't settle for anything else. If you will ask him what he wants for a gift then his answer will always be baccarat cigars. If one of his children goes home from the US, there should be a box of baccarat for him or he'll think you have forgotten him. Good thing baccarat is not expensive and every one of us can afford it, my grandfather goes for the taste than the price tag.
Is it your first time to own a horse? If it is, educate yourself first before buying any accessories. Your very first visit to the horse tack store will probably cost you a lot, but this will eventually become less over time. It will also help a lot to read reviews and get product recommendations from other horse owners before visiting purchasing anything. That way, you'll have a better idea on what types of products to buy, tack types, and price ranges for their particular horses.

Prickly heat comes out when sweat is not able to evaporate from skin due to chafing or tight clothing. the sweat glands become blocked and can result in areas of pink irritated skin that may be dotted with red bumps.
It would be best to wear loose breathable clothing and change out of sweaty items as soon as possible to avoid having prickly heat. If you already have it, soothe affected area with aloe vera gel and ease itching with a cortisone cream. The red bumps will clear up in about a week.
There is this late night reality show on Maxx tv that hubs and I sometimes watch. It's called Cheaters. You're probably familiar with it. It's a show about cheating husbands, wives, boyfriends and girlfriends. When a spouse or partner suspects that their partner is committing infidelity, he or she can ask Cheaters to investigate. At the end of each show is a confrontation between the two. Of course it's chaotic, what would you do if you see your husband cheating on you. It's nice that these cheaters are caught (in the act!) but it is also very humiliating. Personally, I would rather do cell phone spying than to be humiliated in public. Maybe it's easy for me to say because I have never experienced it. But I believe things can be sorted without going public, I'd be dead before I let myself be humiliated like that.
