SEO Dallas is your key

If you're a website owner and you're wondering how the more popular websites increase the traffic and rankings, the answer is very simple.  SEO (Search Engine Optimization).   It's a form of advertising  that helps increase your site's visibility, using important keywords from your website.  SEO Dallas will help you land on the top pages of every search engine there is on the internet.  So when a person clicks on a keyword that matches yours, your website shows on the top list.  People won't waste time clicking on  thousands of pages, what matters are the first few pages, so it's important that you are on those pages.

GPS Tracking Device

My uncle is spending his first New Year in the US.  And since it's his first, he is getting a lot of invites from all our relatives there.  Too many I'm not even sure if he can see them all before he returns here in Manila.  My brother lets him use his car and says, uncle is enjoying going places.   He's only seen some of our relatives and he's fully booked until the rest of his stay. My brother assured mom that he'll never get lost because the car is equipped with a gps tracking device.  Right now our uncle is staying with my aunt in Flushing, NY, and will be back in Connecticut the day after New Year.

Stretch Your $$$

You'll never know what will become big someday.  What started out as a simple hobby have become a popular website where you can get coupons and a lot of shopping and money-saving ideas.  Teri Gault, the founder of the website started it as a hobby; looking for ways to save every penny, clipping coupons, hunting for the cheapest items in the web.  Little did she know that her talent, she is able to predict sales trends, by the way, would impress a lot of people.  That's where the Grocery Game started.
Every one of us is looking for ways to save money.  We want to stretch every dollar that we have to as many grocery items as possible.  It's true that clipping coupons (on your own) would take up so much of your time; but now that the Grocery Game is here, a simple click of your mouse can help you find coupons.  Well, not just coupons but coupons that are already matched to grocery store sales. Time and money saved?  A lot!
It's great that there is a site like this to help moms like me, who are struggling to stretch the daily budget.  Visit now and start saving money on your grocery items.

GPS Tracking Saved Her

Modern technology has really made a lot of things convenient for all of us.  There was one time when my sister left her key inside the car.  When she checked her purse to get the spare key, she realized that she also left it at home.  She'd be late for work if she was to take a cab to get back to her apartment for the spare key so she decided to call up the BMW office.  She was asked to give some details, then after verifying, was asked of her location.  Seconds later, she heard the car unlock.  Yup, that fast.  It could have been a lot worse if not for gps tracking.  Amazing, isn't it?

The Bankers

Both my parents-in-law are bankers.  My FIL was a former VP at a famous bank here in Manila, and MIL was assistant to the former Governor of Central Bank.  It's surprising that among all their children, none of them wanted banking careers, and FIL was a little frustrated.  It was only later that my brother-in-law decided to shift careers and try banking.  That made FIL happy.  :)  He must like it because we can see that he is working hard and has made a good reputation.

Not-so techie

Ever since I've seen Ian Wright's advertisement on Discovery channel, I have added the Canon SX 30 IS in my wish list.  We were at the mall the other day and when I saw it on display, I was tempted to buy it, but decided otherwise.  I have yet to find out how efficient this gadget is, and I'd like to check several canon digital camera reviews first.  Although Canon's always been our brand, it helps to know if I can ever manage to use this gadget, I'm a disaster when it comes to new gadgets!

Will it be like Spa Dallas?

It's not very often that I get gift vouchers for holiday gifts.  I usually get presents like clothes, kitchen gadgets, food, and books.  This time I got spa vouchers from my kids, isn't that sweet?  I have to admit though that I have never been in one so I have no idea what's in store for me.  All I know is I'm going to have a whole day of pampering and relaxation. I've seen the spas from the internet and I'm secretly wishing it's going to be like what they do at Spa Dallas.  That's what I'm going to find out as soon as the holidays are over.  :)

The Key Is SEO Dallas

A have a friend who works for an SEO company.  Whenever I have questions about my blog, she would gladly help me.  She’s been really very helpful especially that I am no techie and panics every time something goes wrong with any of my blogs.  It was also her who introduced me to  SEO Dallas.  She  says that's how I can increase awareness for my blogs.  When I was new to blogging, I wondered how she did it, her blog is one of the more popular blogs I have ever come across.  It was only when she told me that I knew that she uses an seo tool.  Now I know better.

First Impressions Last

Most spa uniforms and hotel uniforms are drab and very ordinary. Instead of the client feeling relaxed when they come in the establishment, the feel of the uniform's texture makes them feel more stressed. Remember, people come to your spa for relaxation and to get out of the ordinary daily life, even for a while.  Put yourself in your employee's place.  If you had a choice of what spa uniforms to wear, wouldn't you feel better wearing what you want to wear? It should not look ordinary, but it should be comfortable and fashionable as well.
A lot of your clients would feel more at ease and will feel good instantly as soon as they walk in your spa seeing how pleasant the place and the staff are.  If you are looking for nice spa and uniform jackets, you can find the recently released designs by visiting the links. They are so fashionable that they don't even look like uniforms.
There are numerous designs and colors to choose from.  They were designed for comfort so  they can move freely while performing spa services to your valued clients.  With these fashionable spa uniforms, you're clients will be impressed not only with the services you offer but with the overall impressive look of your shop.  Remember that first impressions last.

Beat it with rosemary.  The eucalyptol in this aromatic herb is study proven to loosen chest congestion, making phlegm easier to expel.  Plus, rosemary is rich in anti-inflammatory tannins, which soothe a sore throat.  This herb pairs well with chicken, white beans, Brie cheese, roasted meats and poultry, potatoes, polenta and apples.

The Ease of Having a Furniture Software

Every business starts with the inventory.  You don't just open a shop, display your products and wait for the customers to visit and purchase. If you have a lot of products and also a lot in stock, it's going to be difficult for you to find them easily.  Just like with a furniture store, if you do not use a furniture retail software to manage your inventory, finding a stock a customer likes could take you all day. I was buying a divan at a famous department store here one time.  When hubs and I have agreed with the color red, we waited for the sales person to assist us.  It took him quite a while to know that the red divan is no longer available.  It was such a hassle!  He would have known it in a click if the store uses a furniture software.  :(

Photohunt - Male

I don't understand why the groomer had placed red ribbons on Loki.  He's a MALE Shih-tzu!  Overlooked?  Nah, I don't think so.  Gay groomer?  Probably.  Haha.

Sensitivity To Nickel

My daughter is not so fond of wearing jewelries.  It's not that she doesn't like them but she has somehow developed a sensitivity to earrings while she was growing up. It won't even take long before she has worn them and the itching, swelling, and redness will begin at the back of her ear lobe. We have tried allergy medications but this simply did not work.  There was one occasion that it became worse, the itching was accompanied by seeping, bleeding, burning and crusting. She hard a hard time because it took several days to heal.  It's a pity because she has big beautiful ears and any kind of earrings -- hoops, chandelier or studs -- would look really nice on them.
It was only later that I learned, she was having an allergic reaction to nickel (if not for the health mag I was reading, I wouldn't even know!).  Most ear nuts are nickel-plated.  Funny because I first thought she was allergic to gold, I didn't even realize that it was the back of her ear lobes that was itchy.  My bad!
Ever since we knew, we have been more careful in buying earrings, bracelets and charm jewellery.  We have to make sure the metals have no nickel content or they'll end up in my jewelry box.  ;)

Put Them In Good Hands

Looking for a place to safely store all your important data?  I would suggest you do it with document imaging  How it's done?  All your paper documents are scanned and converted to digital images , and then stored on CD, DVD, or other magnetic storage.  You get to control who gets access to your files and files are available to you any time from any location.  Backups, upgrades and security monitoring are administered by the software provider.  Your documents mean so much to your business, make sure you put them in good hands.

How To Boost Your D Levels

Just because you're eating well and taking multivitamins, you assume that you're getting plenty of vitamin D.  According to experts, most women are not getting enough.  Low levels of this vitamin is linked to heart disease, depression, osteoporosis and even cancer.  It's important to have your D levels checked so your doctor can tell you how much you need and if he should recommend a supplement.

I've mentioned it before that the most natural (and the best!) way to boost your D is to let your body make it.  How?  Spend 10 to 15 minutes outdoors and let the sun kiss your skin, without sunscreen.  I would suggest you slather on sunscreen if you have to stay longer, though.
It's hard to rely on food alone if you're looking to up your D level because there aren't many.  Still, you can find it in salmon, mackerel and tuna, as well as egg yolks, fortified milk and cheese, and mushroom.  Adding them to your daily daily diet will surely help.

Yes, A Charm.

Hubs' aunt (the wife of his dad's brother) is turning  80 on the 27th.   Her children is giving her a grand party at the ballroom of the Makati Shangri-La Hotel on the same day.  MIL is helping them organize the party.  I offered my help too but knowing I had a lot of other work to do, MIL said it's alright, she just wants us to be there and just enjoy the party.  I have not shopped for a gift yet and I am starting to panic because I am running out of present ideas.  Come to think of it, what would you give a woman her age, who has almost everything?
I've given her some of my projects (cross stitched designs) so that is out of the questions.  She's probably too tired of them already.  :)  Yes, I've thought of jewelries too but it's way out our budget.  I simply cannot afford to buy her one at this time.  Besides, with all their money, I'm sure she has lots of elegant and expensive pieces.   But a friend is suggesting I check one website that sells cute jewelries, so I did.  Hmmm, why not?  I've seen the wonderful designs and Tita Fenny may be way past the 'cuties' stage but I've seen her wear charms.  I think it's a good idea to give her a pink heart charm.

Slimming Tea, Bowling, and Osteoarthritis

About a month and a half ago, my mom's assistant offered me a slimming tea.  It's called Power Slim and it's in powder form.  You just mix it in 8 oz. hot water and drink.  In my desperation to shed off some of the pounds I gained since I have stopped smoking, I thought I'd try the tea.  I ordered for a box which is equivalent to a month's supply.
After having it for a few days, I felt pain on my left knee.  I was bowling once a week so I didn't suspect it was the tea that caused it.   That week, the approach (it's where you take a slide before releasing the ball) was kind of sticky.  Thought I overdid it, and since I'm already in my forties and overweight, that caused the pain, though it was the first time I ever experienced a knee problem.  It wasn't much of a pain and I was not bothered by it because I can still walk, exercise and bowl.  It'll probably go away after a few days, I thought.  The pressure is felt if I had to walk a lot and bend my knee for a long time.  I noticed that it's inflamed.
The pain was still there after a few weeks, that's when I began to worry.  Could I be having osteoarthritis?  Am I not too young for that?  I did a little research on it and found that it can be genetic, I could get it even if I'm only in my early forties.  I was contemplating on visiting the doctor and if I should ask for Glucosamine prescription, but I waited.  I went back to everything I did, ate and drink the past two weeks.  Everything else was norm except for the slimming tea.  So that's it!  I stopped taking it and though it took a while to ease the pain, my knee is now back to normal and the inflammation has subside.  I swear to myself, I am never going to take anything again without knowing what's in them.

Stop and Smell the Herbs*

Feeling stressed?  I used to say stop and smell the flowers but here's another one... lavender.  Studies show that the smell of lavender relieved feelings of tension after anxiety-provoking tasks.  Get your favorite bath soak, lotion or candle in a lavender scent so you can easily reach for the scent the next time you're feeling edgy.

Toothpaste is risky.

I'm not sure if you've heard of this popular belief, but it's only recently that I heard about it also, trying to quell pimples and blackheads with toothpaste.  I googled it and found out that it is not a smart move to do so because the flouride in toothpaste can actually cause more breakouts.  Plus, some toothpastes contain bleaching and whitening agents which can aggravate your skin's condition.  The best way to get rid of blackheads and pimples is to use an acne product that contains benzoyl peroxide, which kills bacteria or salicylic acid, which unclogs pores.  Or if you want to get the rid of them natural way, tea tree oil is one to try.

Photohunt - Funny

I was fixing the plastic bags from the grocery when this little guy got too curious and poked his head into one of the bags.  Found it too FUNNY and took some shots while wriggling his head out of it.  Bad mama!

Breathe Deeply

Did you know that stopping for 10 minutes a day to take long deep breaths can help lower your blood pressure?  Experts say that by doing so, the body gets the oxygen it needs to function at optimum levels.  Do it daily to avoid high blood pressure attacks -- it's FREE and it's portable.  :)

Grow Them Back Easily

It's usually the men who balds easily, right?  Some may only be in their late 20's but you can already notice receding hairlines.  But I know a few women who's suffering from hair loss at a young age.  I am lucky to be blessed with thick hair (which I hated when I was young!), so I won't be dealing with hair loss problems in the near future.  I used to hate it because I needed a thick rubber band to hold them together.  Those cute clips and ponytail holders won't do.  Worse, my locks are wavy, so you can just imagine my dilemma when I was younger.  Don't laugh but I used to pray for my hair to fall so they'll get thinner.  Well now, I am thankful  they didn't!  Haha.
I have a friend, S, who's not so lucky.  She is only in her early forties like me but her top has gone thin that you can see her scalp.  S is not one to try implants so the vitamins to grow long hair I found on the internet sounds perfect for her.  I showed it to her and she immediately asked her doc if it's alright for her to take them.  She is conservative and I admire her for being very careful when it comes to popping in meds and vitamins.  The doc gave her a go signal so let's see what happens in the next few weeks.

Relieve Achy Joints*

If you have been suffering from achy joints, try adding curry powder to your daily diet.  The curcumin in curry inhibits the body's production of prostaglandin E2, an inflammatory compounds that over sensitizes nerves.  This blunts joint and muscle pain as effectively as prescription meds.  The spice pairs well with lentils, mangoes, rice, cauliflower and spinach.

What Your Body Tells You

There are more than a hundred types of vitamins available in the market today and if you have to listen to ads alone on what you should be popping in your mouth, you could have more than 10 supplements to take in a day -- vitamin D, E, C, A, B, zinc, iron, calcium, etc, etc.  Chances are, taking them all at the same time may not be helping your body at all.
Our body is one great machine.  When something goes wrong, it doesn't just shut down without warning, we get signals that let us know something is amiss.  Those symptoms and physical signs are our body's ways to alert us there is an imbalance.  Instead of popping a pill right away, it helps to know what your body is trying to tell you so you'll know how to supplement it properly.
Try to decipher your symptoms.  I found a website that will help you do that, You simply take the Survey and the answers you give will allow experts to instantly calculate possible gaps in your diet as they relate to your overall health and lifestyle (food, exercise, etc). Then you'll get a customized recommendation of daily vitamins, minerals, herbals, and other supplements that will assist you in your way towards healthy.

Holter for Lolo

Mom and dad will be accompanying lolo (grandfather) to the hospital on Monday.  The doctor will be putting patches on his chest.  He wants to monitor lolo's heart's electrical activity. While the holter monitor is with him, my mom will keep a diary of what he does while wearing it.  Then they'll  return it after 48 hours. His doctor will look at the records and see if there have been irregularities in his heart rhythms.  Lolo has been complaining of shortness of breath and mom got worried so they're off to see his doc on Monday.

Caring For Your Loved Ones

It pays to know your loved will be taken care of in case something happens to you.  You can sleep soundly at night knowing they will never go hungry and the kids will continue their education should the inevitable happen to you, the bread winner. Life insurance can play a very important role in your family.
If you still have none, you may want to consider it and start checking on life insurance quotes. Ensure and protect your loved ones' future.

Photohunt - Hard-To-Find

I was fascinated by fireflies when I was a kid.  My siblings and I would catch and place them in a jar, watch them for a while and release them again.  Nowadays, fireflies are hard to find.  I feel a little sad that my kids didn't get to enjoy them like my siblings and I did.

Feeling Down?

Add basil to your daily diet.  The eugenol and rosmarinic acid in basil boost the brain's production of dopamine and serotonin.  This could lead to sunnier moods in as little as three days, researchers say.  The herb pairs well with tomatoes, olives, strawberries, melon, fresh mozzarella, pizza, pasta, white fish, feta cheese.

Stubborn Fats

Why is it that when you are older, the pounds are much harder to lose?  Diet and exercise alone don't seem to work, to think that I have been working out for an hour a day now.  It's been a month and all I managed to shed off are two pounds.  :(  I have tried taking diet pills back then, and I'm considering taking them again.  This time though, I'd like to have supervision so I'm going to ask my doc for advice.  I am not getting any younger and I'm not as adventurous as when I was 10 years ago.

Banish Stress with Onions

Whether at work or at home, stress never seems to leave us.   Deadlines, brainstorming, reports, taking care of the kids, stretching the budget and your long list of to-dos all contribute to stress.  And everything from  simple allergies to headache or back pain can be traced back to unchecked stress. Of course, we want to live a healthy and happy life so we look for ways to prevent work and home pressures wreak havoc on our minds and bodies.

I have read that onions help banish stress.  The chromium found in these pungent bulbs plays a major role in the production of serotonin and dopamine.  Both are neurochemicals that help the body cope with anxiety.  Make sure you add this stress buster to your daily diet.  :)
