Did You Know?

Dill is a liver healer.  There are compounds in the herb that is believed to protect the liver against the damaging effects of a high fat diet.  Researchers have discovered that dill extract can boost the production of antioxidants that improves the liver's ability to metabolize fat.  Add dill to your daily diet and you'll notice a great drop in your trigylcerides (a type of fat that contributes to fatty liver disease) in as little as two weeks.

The Worried Mom

We thought of buying a fetal doppler when my daughter was on her last term of pregnancy.  She carried twins and total bed rest was advised during her last two months.  She was not allowed to move too much; not even to sit down.  As a first time mom she was worried about her girls all the time.  The gadget helped her monitor her babies and she felt at ease that she heard their heartbeats all the time.  It was tough that she wasn't able to do much during those times but it was nice that she was able to listen to their heartbeats to reassure her that they were alright.  On Christmas eve they will be six months old, here they are now...

Saved!

My brother just renewed his roadside assistance club membership.  He promised his wife he'll never allow their membership to expire again.  Double trouble struck last year while they were on their way to NJ.  They were traveling along the highway when the rv broke down.  It was 11 pm, it was very dark and they were in the middle of the road.  That was the time he remembered that he did not renew his roadside assistance membership.  Can you imagine yourself in that situation?  He tried to call his insurance and it was a good thing that even if he had forgotten to renew, Good Sam still went to help them.

Fabulous Switchplates

The quality is great and the style is elegant. I bought the switchplate covers for my twin granddaughters' room.  It was my first time to shop online so I had some worries.  The designs are very unique and I have not seen them in our local store so I thought I'd try purchasing online.  Everything went great and my order came fast.  I won't hesitate to order from the same company again.  The switchplates are looking fab in my little angels' room.

Earning Through Infinite Banking

Banks earn billions at the expense of its clients. While savings interests remain low, interest rates of loans are high. Banks loan our savings to businesses who pay the banks high interest rates. The banks enjoy the fruits of our hard earned savings. Aside from low interest rates on savings, we are taxed on the little earnings we get out of this. Infinite Banking circumvents all these expenses. Permanent life insurance allows us to get more out of our plans. Our profits are shielded from taxes and market fluctuations. We also get a fixed and guaranteed rate of return. We earn through dividends. Infinite banking is the wave of the future.

6 Apps to Track Your Health

If you've recently been shopping for health insurance, you know that the healthier you are, the easier it is to get those great rates. We all know the best way to stay healthy is to take some proactive measures, right? Eat a healthy, balanced diet rich in fruits and vegetables, limit your sweets, exercise on a regular basis, get adequate amounts of sleep, drink lots of water, and avoid excessive drinking. Thankfully, some new mobile apps make it easy to track your health, monitor your workouts, manage your health records, and more. Why not take the next step toward cheaper health insurance and term life insurance by using one of these apps to keep you feeling your best.

Capzule, PHR
This app allows you to manage a wealth of medical information for your entire family. Track appointments, immunizations, lab tests and results, doctor visits, and other medical histories. You can even connect to a regular computer to enter information, or connect to your calendar feature to remember important appointments.

RxMindMe
This free app is priceless if you take many different prescription medications. The app will remind you when to take your meds, as well as alert you when it's time for prescription refills. It keeps a list of all medications you have ever taken, and it's easy to add a new medication by searching the FDA medication list. All information is kept private by requiring a password.

LogFrog DB
Managing diabetes can be a challenge for kids and adults alike. You can try a trial version of the LogFrog DB app for 30 days to see if you like it. LogFrog makes it easy to track things like diet, exercise, and medications. Data input is quick and easy, even appealing to kids. It can track blood sugar levels over time, and has an alarm feature to remind you to test your blood sugar or take medication.

PozTracker
PozTracker is a confidential app used by people living with HIV/AIDS. It helps you keep track of all medical information, including doctors visited, medications, allergies, and viral load levels. It offers a graph feature and a glossary of common terms as well as tips to stick to a healthy regime. It keeps information private by requiring not only a password, but also security questions each time you open the app.

iPeriod Ultimate
Women can easily track their monthly cycles with the iPeriod app. Whether you're trying to conceive, or quite the opposite, the graphing feature can spot trends, notify you of ovulation, and more. It can provide email alerts, has a calendar, and the information is easily backed-up, making this the only app a woman needs to keep track of her feminine health.

BP Tracker
This app allows you to quickly and easily monitor your blood pressure. Data can be entered in seconds and can then be emailed to your doctor if you choose. Information can also be shown in a graph, so you can track blood pressure trends. There is a handy color-coding feature, which allows you to easily recognize when blood pressure levels get too high or too low.

Can't Sleep?

If you have been staring at the ceiling for hours try this simple trick I found.  Rub your earlobes with your thumb and index finger for thirty seconds, or until they feel hot.  Traditional Chinese Medicine experts say the trick removes blockages in your flow of qi, or life force, and returns the body to a calm, peaceful state.  You'll drift off to dreamland fast!

Cymax It

Exhausted and getting nowhere with my daughter's new house, we decided to get all the furnishings and decors from just one place. Rather than spend countless hours in the mall, we just ordered everything from Cymax. Every piece should complement the rest. Her bathroom was ordered as a set so that everything had the same design. Her kitchen and the dining room was an ensemble. Everything matched. Even the wallpapers had to match the furnishings. Every piece of decoration matched the room they were placed in. So the next time you hit a blank wall on a home makeover, Cymax it.

Cymax: Convenient Designing

My sister is a very busy person. Finding time to shop is a chore for her. When she moved to her new condo, she had no time to buy decorations or even furnishings. I advised her to just order the things she needs online and if possible, from just one store. She took my advice and searched for a store online when she discovered Cymax. After checking out their product line, she chose the items she needed. To simplify everything, she ordered all the items from them. She did her interior design herself and everything turned out great. All the furnishings and decor went well together. She intends to buy some more items from them.

Did You Know?

You can sidestep tiredness with raspberries.  The anthocyanins in these ruby gems fight overgrowth of the gut bacteria Candida albicans (yeast), which can trigger fatigue, bloat and GI distress.

The Black Sofa from Cymax

The black leather sofa my sister purchased from Cymax was so fab it gave her small living room character.  It doubles as a bed so she has a spare bed when a friend has decided to sleep over.  The upholstery is leather so it's practical and easy to maintain.  I tried napping on it and it was very comfortable.  The sofa is a great idea for my son's room.  It would complement the theme of his room and he usually has a friend who sleeps over on weekends.  He'll have a place for his friends to sleep. I'ts a great deal for under $150.

How B2B Telemarketing Works

A good customer service is what most clients and prospective buyers look for.  As much as possible, customers like to deal with people who understand what they need and have a knowledge of what they are selling.  When you have a good and competitive customer service everything else follows -- improved sales, better products and returning customers.  That's what b2b telemarketing is all about.  The scheme has helped many businesses improve their sales by taking care of your clients well.

Clients hate it when the call takes a long time to get through and when they talk to a person who doesn't know anything about the product.  With this strategy, expect that your business will always meet your customer's every need.

Try Cymax

Where do you buy your furniture?  Have you ever tried purchasing them online?  If you still haven't heard of Cymax, you might want to check it out.  It's your best source for modern furniture and audio and video furniture.  The store offers a wide variety of styles and designs to suit your modern home.  I've also seen the prices and they are lower than other furniture stores.  Cymax is reliable because based on the reviews, delivery is fast.  Most reviews I found are positive and it's going to be the first store I'll think about when it's time for me to buy a new furniture.

Did You Know?

Bay leaves can soothe sinus.  The leaves are a rich source of cineole, a volatile oil that healps ease the discomfort of sinusitis.  Experts say, intake of cineole decreses inflammation and fluid buildup in the sinuses, which in turn reduces symptoms like headaches.  Inhaling th oil's aroma has also been shown to alleviate pain.

She got it from Cymax

Cousin Joan is very excited about the dinette table she purchased from Cymax.  The table, together with its four cute chairs arrived yesterday afternoon just in time for today's Thanksgiving celebration.  She had been raving about that set since she saw it on display at Cymax.  She says the table will perfectly blend with all her other furniture in the house.  It took her a while but I'm glad that she was finally able to save for it.  I'm sure their Thanksgiving dinner will not only be festive; they are going to dine elegantly tonight with her beautiful table.  Cousin Joan, indeed has a lot to be thankful for.

For Achy Muscles

Are you feeling achy?  Then try this mini massage and those aches will be gone for good.  Mix 25 drops of eucalyptus essential oil and 2 oz. of corn, sunflower or canola oil, then massage into sore tissues for 2 minutes once or twice daily.

The eucalyptus essential oil will help soothe those sore muscles quickly.  Thanks to its abundant supply of phytochemicals, which work to relax muscles; improve blood flow; and reduce painful swelling and inflammation.

Winter Apps

My friend who lives in Scotland seems to be enjoying the weather. He loves walking to work which is just a few blocks from his apartment. He's not deterred by the cold thanks to Damart UK. With the help of their thermal app, he is able to choose the right clothes to wear. Their thermal app works perfectly with their thermal clothing line. It's like having your very own wardrobe consultant. Of course, it runs on Apple's iPhone.

No more ransacking your closet and putting on several clothes to keep yourself warm on a cold winter day. Just type in the data and the app will tell what specific line of their clothing you need to wear. If only other clothing lines would have such a useful app for their line. This app would do wonders to countries with winter season. It's funny how you look so bulky when wearing ordinary winter clothing. An excellent winter clothing line should use advanced materials and keep a person warm with less layers of clothing. This is why my friend only buys Damart. As a chef, she is on the heavy side. Wearing more clothes to keep her warm makes her look even bigger and she hates this.

With the right clothes and an app to go along with it, you don't have to look like a snowman or a a walking closet.

A New Plan

One year of hard work and nothing to show for it.  That's how long I've suffered from working out without results.  My thyroid must have slept after I quit smoking and no matter how much I exercise and eat so little, nothing happened.  I'm thinking of weight loss pills and someone recommend an all natural diet pills.  I'm game to try because this might jump start weight loss.  I'm not ditching the workout though because I'd still like my muscles toned if I lose weight.

Cell Line Development

We all know that cancer and diabetes have no cure.  Well, yes they can be treated but once you have it, it's there to stay forever.  However, doctors and scientist continue to research on ways to help patients and hopefully, a way to cure them.  For years now they have been working on cell line development.  They are studying the possibility of culturing stem cells to produce monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) and other proteins to fight these diseases and working on reducing the production costs at the same time.   In a few more years, these experts are positive they can help cancer and diabetes patients.

The Furniture Retail Software Made Jean's Job Easier

Jean's family had been in the furniture business since we were in high school.  They specialize in making furniture using Kamagong and Narra woods.  Last week I met her during our reunion and I heard from her that their family is still in that business.  She now manages it together with her husband.  It has grown bigger and they are catering to the international market as well.  She says she uses a furniture retail software to keep track of all their stocks and orders.  According to her, her job became a lot easier when she started using the software.  Her job used to be difficult because it was only she who did the inventory, the accounting and the marketing of their family business.  Now she can relax and have fun from time to time.

Photohunt - Two

When I saw the theme TWO I naturally thought of our twins.  These were taken a few days ago after they turned four months.

Have a fabulous weekend!

I got a new frame!

Sometimes, I really can't understand why some women fret about reaching the age of forty. I turned 44 last August and yes, I have noticed some fine lines and wrinkles but I'm really not worried about them and I don't dwell too much on that. My hair is turning white that's true, but I don't mind it too because hair dyes can do the job. I can even have my hair now in different shades of brown. There isn't much difference as when I was in my thirties except of course now, I have to wear reading eyeglasses.

I was just thinking about how my husband always tells me how beautiful my eyes are and there's no other way that I can think of than to take care of them with fashionable eyeglasses. I have a favorite online shop that offers cheap and affordable specs. I was just there a while ago to check the new designs that have arrived. Their new arrivals are also featured in some popular magazines. As soon as I heard from my friend that she saw new designs, I visited the site and checked them. Of course I also checked the prices; and as usual, I wasn't surprised to find out that they are the same prices as the ones I bought before. Most of they stylish and fabulous designs are sold at a very low price.

What I love about their glasses is that they come with full UV protection with anti-scratch coating. And with these unique and stylish design, you're sure to look good with them like I do.

Feel Relaxed Instantly

Woke up on the wrong side of the bed?  If your feeling sad and tensed, add a few dashes of nutmeg to your breakfast to stop the blues from taking over your day.  Researchers say, an important mineral in this spice induces relaxation by increasing brain levels of the calming hormone serotonin.

The Furniture Retail Software works well for my friend

My friend recently opened a furniture store. With a very large inventory, she had everything computerized. All her items are barcoded for easy identification. A furniture retail software takes care of all the information on each and every furniture in their store. Customers can easily know the price, manufacturer and other details of a certain piece of furniture. This has made her operations smoother. Every sales staff has a scanner which retrieves all the information the customer wants.

The store is doing well and the personnel;s work is made easy by the system. The staff is not harassed and the customers do not have to wait long. Sales is up and business had never been so brisk.

Did You Know?

Chives' unique flavonoids can help protect your heart.   The herb is full or powerful antioxidants that work to protect heart against the damaging effects of bad cholesterol or LDL.

For a yummy way to reap the rewards; drizzle chive oil to chicken, fish or vegetable dishes and soups. To make the oil: In a blender, puree 1 bunch of chives and 1/2 cup of olive oil; add salt. Store it in the fridge for up to five days.

Cost Cutting

The prices of gas and other utilities keep on going up and it is no surprise that most of us find ways to stretch our incomes.

My family and I used to enjoy a lot of stuff from the grocery. My kids love to munch on chips and sweets so I used to buy a lot of this stuff whenever I go grocery shopping. And if they see something new from the ads; they'd ask me to buy the new stuff. Now, with the same budget that I used to spend with my grocery, I only go home with the most important things. I will have to pay more if I have to buy my kids the extras. Although they understand that we have a limited budget, it breaks my heart that I can't always get them what they want.

We have already done a lot of cost cutting and my family is getting used to it. Our car insurance is due to expire by the end of the month and instead of renewing, hubs looked for auto insurance quotes to find the best deal. My brother-in-law told us that auto insurances are cheaper if purchased online because you avoid unnecessary car insurance costs.  Sure enough, he was able to get a good deal.

It may be a little difficult to start tightening your belts but once you're used to it, you'll be surprised to find out how much money you waste on unnecessary things.
