Enjoy 30 minutes more of sleep and prevent diabetes.  That's from researchers who found that the extra half hour of sleep each night will cut your risk of diabetes by 41 percent.  The reason?  Being well-rested cuts cortisol production by 27 percent, and as levels of this stress hormone drop, your body's ability to control blood sugar skyrockets.  Lowering cortisol levels also helps prevent osteoporosis.
