High Cholesterol?

Eat more tomatoes!  Researchers say tomatoes phytochemicals reduces levels of LDL or bad cholesterol by up to 10 percent.  That's comparable to the benefits seen in patients taking low doses of statin drugs.  Studies also show that lycopene (the compounds that gives the red color to tomatoes) helps decrease blood pressure significantly.  Add them to salads or as side dish to grilled chicken or baked fish.
