Colony Forming Assay, a hope for cancer patients

When I first heard about stem cells, it's about the period that saves.  That was I think, back in 2008 when scientist have discovered about menstrual blood containing adult cells that apparently can help heal serious diseases.  Four years later and more breakthroughs in science came.  One of them, colony forming assay, is being developed to cure cancers in the future.  My husband's aunt succumbed to breast cancer a few years ago and now two of his cousins have been diagnosed and both are in stage 1.  We are praying that scientist will work fast so patients don't have to wait long for their cure.
