A Beer a Day Keeps Bones Stronger


If you regularly drink beer, you are doing your bones a favor.  That's because beer is rich in easy-to-absorb form of dietary silicon, a mineral that increases bone density.  What's more, the alcohol contains ethanol that keeps bones from weakening, especially in postmenopausal women.  Recommended dose?  One beer a day.

Interesting information. I always thought that the only thing you can get from beer is a bulging belly. I didn't know it's good for the bones too.

heheheh yes, it might give you some muffin top but one beer a day is good enough and what it is required for stronger bones. But, If you have more than one, then bulging belly will occur...
