Massaging chamomile essential oil into your temples can shut down a tension headache in 10 minutes. Chamomile is rich in salicylic acid, azulene and other plant compounds that reduce pain and stop muscle spasms. To do: Mix 25 drops of chamomile essential oil and 2 oz. of corn, sunflower or canola oil, then massage into temples for 5 to 10 minutes.
