Review: Ozeri CardioTech BP5K Blood Pressure Monitor

I was one of the lucky bloggers to be given a chance to review the Ozeri CardioTech Pro Series BP5K Digital Blood Pressure Monitor with Voice-Guided Operation & Intelligent Hypertension Indicator. It was right on time because due to perimenopause, I'm starting to have spikes in my blood pressure. We also have a BP monitor here at home that my mom uses, but it's old and I'm not sure if it's still that accurate.

I was very exited when I was informed that my unit was shipped via UPS. I didn't have to wait long; in two days time, it was here!

Product Description:

The Ozeri CardioTech BP5K Blood Pressure Monitor is compact, portable and simple-to-use. It is also an advanced wrist cuff monitor with a new intelligent voice-guided feature that alerts you to the proper positioning of your wrist for accurate blood pressure measurements. The audible voice also automatically tells you the results after each measurement. It has an ample memory that can store up to 180 blood pressure readings with date and time memory recall. Another great feature of this product is that it can also detect irregular heartbeat (Arrhythmia) for an improved understanding of your heart's health. It comes with a 5 year warranty, 2 AAA batteries, a carrying case and a user manual.

  • New intelligent voice-guided feature alerts you to the proper positioning of your wrist for accurate blood pressure measurements.

My Opinion?

It's so easy to use and you don't even need assistance from anyone to get your blood pressure. The audible voice guides you through the steps. It tells you when you have positioned it wrong and how you can correct it so you'd get the most accurate reading possible.

Note: These are the photos I took when I tested it on my brother.

The first time that I used it, the audible voice had to tell me several times to adjust the angle of my arm. That is a good thing because it means that the people behind Ozeri did their job well at producing the most accurate BP monitor ever to hit the market. Yeah, I've used mom's old BP monitor. It's digital too, but you'll never know if you are doing it right or if your arm and wrist are positioned at the right angle.

As soon as I'm done, the result was displayed on the screen. The screen is bright and the numbers are pretty big. I was able to see it clearly even without my readers. Oh, and the audible voice didn't stop talking; it told me if the number was high or low. That's another great feature that I like because not all people know much about blood pressure monitoring.

I've had a really nice experience with this product and every one at home was excited to try it. If you need to monitor your blood pressure, you can do it at home with the Ozeri CardioTech Pro Series BP5K Digital Blood Pressure Monitor with Voice-Guided Operation & Intelligent Hypertension Indicator. It's easy to use and accurate. The voice is loud enough, clear and easy to understand. It's so nice that the people behind this product worked so hard in producing a high quality blood pressure monitor.
