Exfolimate Review

Dry brushing rids your skin of dead skin cells, which can help improve your skin's texture and help in cell renewal. It also helps increase blood flow, tightening the skin and making it appear younger. Now, there's a new breakthrough in Skincare technology. Exfolimate works exactly like dry brushing to reduce visible signs of aging and clear skin naturally. I'm glad I was given the opportunity to review it.

Product Description

The secret is Exfolimate’s innovative micro-groove technology etched into the smooth metal edge. The micro-grooves gently lift and remove lingering skin cells and debris to unveil younger, fresher skin.

Exfolimate is made to gently exfoliate the face and body and is precision designed for daily exfoliation and naturally skin clearing results.

Exfolimate transforms the surface of your skin.

Using your Exfolimate™ is easy and can be done at the end of your shower or bath any day of the week.

Make sure your skin is wet and supple – it is suggested that you use Exfolimate towards the end of your shower or bath.

How to use Exfolimate

STEP 1 Make sure your skin is wet and supple – it is suggested that you use Exfolimate towards the end of your shower or bath.

STEP 2 With either the face or body tool, using gentle pressure from your fingertips, gently glide the tool along the contours of your body at a 90-degree angle. It only takes a light amount of pressure to effectively use Exfolimate.

STEP 3 As you glide Exfolimate along your face and body, check under the smooth metal edge for any lingering residue. To remove the dead skin and debris, simply run the tool under warm running water. Make sure you repeat this step once you’ve exfoliated your entire body to keep the tool clean for your next use.

Once you’ve cleaned your Exfolimate, hang the tool to dry so it is ready and waiting to gently exfoliate your skin from top to toe.

My Thoughts

Dry brushing is a little time consuming and although I wanted to do it every day, I simply can't because I have a lot of other things to attend to daily. Judging from the description, Exfolimate sounds quick and easy. The blades looked really interesting. I received two: a small one for the face and a bigger blade for the body. They are not sharp and you don't have to worry about cutting yourself when you use it.

The first time I used it on my face, I saw a buildup on the blade. I have oily skin and it made me feel good that I was able to clean it thoroughly with the blade. My face also felt smooth and soft. As for my body, I didn't see any buildup on the blade, but just the same, my skin felt smooth.

Pros

It's new and it's cool. Imagine having soft and silky smooth skin by simply swiping it all over your body. It's fairly priced, too, considering that you only need to replace this tool after a year.

Cons

While it's very easy to use, it's still time consuming for a busy mom like me. Dry brushing takes longer, but with the blades, you still have to run it all over your body. Or maybe, I just need to get used to it, so swiping would just be like normal.

Recommendation

This saves you a lot of money from going to the spa. It's effective at clearing the skin of dirt, debris and dead skin cells, making it soft and smooth and increasing blood flow.
