locally we call it gumamela. the flowers are so beautiful. it is the perfect example when you try to study the anatomy of a flower. it reminds me of my childhood years. gumamela used to be a prominent flower in my grandma's home.

I love gardening but I can never grow a hibiscus plant :-( minsan nga, gusto ko nakawin na lang yung sa kapitbahay, ha ha ha!

This is beautiful!! I remember in grade school we draw this flower and identify the parts of the flower. That was really cool. Happy weekdays!
