Did you know that the average age of menopause is 51? The symptoms of menopause are worst at the onset and it usually last from 2 to 5 years.
The body produces less estrogen and progesterone during menopause and the ovaries stop producing eggs and the period becomes less frequent. Most women experience a few unpleasant effects as the hormone levels shift.
The most common signs are hot flashes, other women also complain of night sweats, insomnia, fatigue, vaginal dryness, loss of sex drive, mood swings [such as irritability, anxiety, crying spells], heart palpitations, difficulty focusing, dry eyes and skin and joint and muscle aches.
Studies revealed that taking hormone replacement drugs increased a woman's risk of heart disease, stroke, blood clots, breast cancer and gallbladder disease. Natural is still the best alternative to lessen the suffering.
Here are some of the things you should: Watch your intake of alcohol, spicy foods and caffeine. These trigger the symptoms. Exercise in the morning to help improve sleep. Dress in layers and wear fabrics that wick moisture and take deep breaths. You may still consider taking supplements but it would be best to consult your doctor first.
For more tips and the list of foods to eat and avoid, I have published an article a few months ago in my other blog.

Nice blog you have.
Re your this interesting posting...to me, we men have to watch our steps, thats when a woman does odd things, say unfamiliar things, in other words, they slightly different flight path, ha ha.
So, as a husband, we have to understand, and not being suicidal by getting on her wrong foot.
Takes about a year for things to get normal, ha ha.
Noticed you from Philippines? I was searching for my favourite song, 'Dahil Sayo' for years on my old jurassic computer, but recently got my new Apple Imac, and two nights ago, happened to be at a Hawaiiansite looking for a certain oldie song, and Holy Smoke! I found it, but only under a different spelling, and played in strict Hawaiian style tempo, a Rhumba. I love it....
We are not from the Phillipines, but my wife can sing that song very well, its really a beautiful song, made famous by Elmelda Marcos?
Anyway, you stay easy and have a nice day, best regards, Lee.
