Treating Acne
I used to hear from other people that they treat acne with toothpaste, it's a popular belief, they say. Treating it with toothpaste is not a smart move because the flouride in toothpaste can cause more breakouts. Plus, the bleaching and whitening agents can burn skin. For stubborn pimples and acne, it would be best to look for an acne product that contains natural ingredients not only designed to soothe skin and exfoliate acne fast but kill bacteria and unclog pores.

Sounds like one of those wacky home remedies that people used to try to inflict on me when I was a pimply teen.

My boyfriend had bad acne. He got the pro active stuff & it cleared him up for good. he loves it.
I've done this :) Even though it sounds weird, it really does dry 'em up fast if you're in a pinch!

yeah, I've heard that toothpaste is a common treatment for acne and pimples but not sure how true it is :-D

I have tried this. It did work, but wouldn't recommend as an overall remedy for acne. It works if your in a hurry, but.... anyways, I cleared up my skin with proactive. Love the stuff.
My friend does this! I will have to let her know. I have never tried it but have heard to use toothpaste as well.
