At 6:00 AM, Good Friday,April 10, Nanay Ats finally bade us farewell. She peacefully passed away in her sleep. My MIL was by her side, holding her hands. As she took her last breath, a procession was passing by their place. The procession stopped and took a moment of silence to pray for her soul. Five priests blessed her. Nanay was a friend to all. Those in the procession knew her well. She was kind and helpful to all their neighbors.
As per her request, she was cremated. Since it was Good Friday, her ashes could not be interned. Friends and relatives went to her house instead to pay their last respects. Our dear Nanay Ats is finally home.
Our family would like to express our sincere thanks to all who shared their love, their prayers and their experiences with us.

Have faith and be strong, and thank God that she's no longer in pain.
Hugs.
