Thank You

It was a sad weekend for all of us, hubs' aunt passed away on Good Friday at 6 am. Nanay Ats, 74, succumbed to breast cancer. The news of cancer came as a shock because all the while (for 2 years) we thought she was suffering from osteoporosis. That's what we have been told by her doctors and there were screenings and examinations that supported their diagnosis. She even had a general physical examination a few months back and a bone marrow test last month. We brought her to 6 different doctors, all of them were consistent in saying that Nanay Ats had osteoporosis. We still can't believe that none of her tests showed signs of the killer C.

Two Fridays ago, she was rushed to the hospital because she wasn't eating anymore. The next day, we were informed that she has breast cancer, stage four already and that she has only about a week left. Thursday, she asked to be brought home. It's as if that was what she was waiting for, to rest at home. The next morning, she came home with the Lord.

Nay, I know you are happy wherever you are and we're all glad that your sufferings has come to an end. We love and miss you.

Once again, our family would like to express our sincere thanks to all of you who shared their love, their prayers and their experiences with us.

Condolences, Liz. I just knew about it right now when I visited your blog here.

74 is also not a very young age, I think Nay Ats is happy where she is right now.

Liza:

So sorry about your loss. We can certainly understand how you feel. My wife's mother died a week ago and her sister died suddenly four weeks ago. So you might say it's been a rough month. There's never a good time to pass away.

With all sympathy, have a nice Easter.

Hey Liza,

I am so sorry to hear about your aunt :(! How are you feeling *hug*?

This was very unfortunate; medical negligence is always a tragedy *nodding*!

But Aunt Nay is in a better place, and the Lord is watching over her as we speak :)!

May God be with you and your family!

Cheers

It is so hard to make sense of the beast, taking women that you love and adore way too early. Praying for your family through this grief!
