Health Tip #9


Check your posture every hour, or whenever you sit down at your desk.  Slumping puts pressure on the belly, which can send stomach acid into the esophagus and cause reflux.  It can also compress the intestines, slowing circulation and tightening the diaphragm, leading to constipation.

We are all guilty of it at times. My back bothers me so I usually am very careful. Thanks for the tip.

I did not know about the constipation issue. It must be tough for those who have desk jobs. Luckily I don't but I am guilty of being in front of the computer for hours at times.
