As a practicing dentist, my cousin makes sure she does her job well by attending seminars and doing a lot of readings on the latest medical breakthroughs. She wants to be ahead of her peers and she wants her patients to feel that they are in good hands. Although lawsuits are not her problem because she does her job well; she still makes sure she protects herself from the risk that she may sued by purchasing a texas liability insurance. She says practicing in Texas is a lot different than when she was still residing here in Manila; patients here are easier to please than her patients there.
