T Cells guard you against infection

We all know that a strong immune system can fend off diseases so we all work hard to strengthen our immunity.  We eat healthy foods, exercise and get enough sleep to achieve a strong immune system.  These things not just strengthen our body; they make the t cells (a type of blood cell that can be found in the white blood cells) stronger.  These t cells or thymus cells are the ones responsible at guarding our body against inflammation and infection.  So when these cells are strong, they can easily attack and destroy infectious agents that cause us to get sick.
