My Thoughts
I love that it's so neat and beautiful; it would easily look great in any kitchen. It's hard and it looks very strong. I tried slicing a few vegetables and it didn't leave any scars. Well, you get scars too from other types of cutting boards, but wooden cutting boards scar easily because of its softer surface, leaving pockets so moisture and bacteria can breed. The bamboo cutting board is stronger than maple or oak, so knives don't leave scars easily. Maybe, if I make it pretty hard and chop with full force, that's the time it'll get scarred.
Pros
It's hard, strong and sturdy and won't wear off easily. It's easy to clean and very hygienic. Bacteria won't be able to breed because the cutting board is dense enough to resist knife scarring. If you take care of it well and make a habit of cleaning and wiping it dry after each washing, your bamboo cutting board will last a long time.
Cons
So far so good. I didn't find anything I didn't like about these cutting boards.
Recommendation
It's great both for home and commercial use. It's tied up and packaged really nicely and would make a great gift to family and friends.
