Perricone MD Face Finishing and Friming Moisturizer Review

I'm sure you already know that proper skin care means washing your face with a mild facial cleanser, cleaning it up with a good toner or astringent and applying moisturizer to keep it soft and hydrated. When I was younger, I was lazy and used to skip the last step because I found moisturizers oily and sticky. It was only when I got into my late thirties that I realised, didn't have much choice. If I really want to delay the signs of aging, I just have to use a moisturizer to keep my skin young looking. Today's review is about the Face Finishing and Friming Moisturizer by Perricone MD.

I received my Voxbox courtesy of Influenster three weeks ago and just had to try it right away.

My Thoughts

If you have a sensitive nose, you may not like it. It has a strong floral scent that reminds me of my mom’s moisturizer. I think it’s rose. It goes away a few minutes after you apply it. So it doesn’t bother me that much.

I have a combination skin. I get flakes between my eyebrows, the sides of my nose, and on my chin, in other words, my T-zone (where everyone else have more oil). After three weeks of use I don’t have the flaking anymore. I’ve also used it around my eyes. I noticed that I have less fine lines a.k.a. crowfeet (I stopped using eye cream when I started using this. I don’t know if that’s recommended though.)

A little goes a long way. It’s not sticky and goes on smoothly. Very lightweight and absorbs quickly. I use this under my makeup and it didn’t make my face more oily. Doesn’t make my face feel like I piled on an extra layer of skin product.

I also love that even my age spots have lightened. I am 51 and there's no denying that I have age spots here and there. But as you can see in the photos, there really is a big difference.

Would I recommend it?

Of course! I love what it did to my skin and I'm sure you'll love it too. It's a bit expensive though, but I tell you, the money you'll be spending for it is all worth it.
