Danielle of Choffeenilla Treats sent me a box of her famous Plain Whities, Walnut Whities and assorted mini muffins. Here's what I have to say.
When I first heard about the white brownies, I got excited because I didn't think I've had them before. Unlike the traditional brownies many of us love, this one is made with melted white chocolate. I was expecting it to be extra sweet since white chocolate was used and if my guess is right, condensed milk. Surprisingly, the Whities were not too sweet. In fact, it has just the right amount of sweetness. Hindi nakakasawa. Both the Plain Whities and the Walnut Whities have the same crusty like top similar to the traditional brownies. They are dense, compact and have a slighty cakey texture which made them soft and chewy. One bite and I knew I have tasted them before, but I can't remember where. Ito yung klase ng treat or dessert na hinahanap ko before pa. Ang sarap pareho, but I like the Walnut Whities more; well, because of the walnuts. :) I have to say, these whities are one of the best things I’ve had recently and it's better than its twin, the fudgy brownies. They are simple, rich, delicious; yet light and now I know where to get them.
The Banana Mini Muffins are cute and as yummy. They are bursting with rich banana flavor, incredibly soft, airy and perfectly moist. While muffins are usually eaten during breakfast, you can have them as a dessert after a meal because they are small, sweet and light. At para rin talaga syang dessert. These muffins are lovingly homemade.
